one son under age 10 and 3 females under age 10. Migrated to Habersham Co, Georgia 1822 and Walton Co prior 1830c, where he listed two females age 10 to 15. Listed one male 5/10, one 15/20 and one 20/30. His wife was 40/50 and he 50/60 (53) William & Rachael (1860c) residing with son William, Walton Co. Rachael died just after census of 1860, and William died in 1865. His son owned 'Cemetery Lots' at Corinth Christian Church, and could have buried his parents there. Many of their sons, and g-sons were in Georgia National Guards in Walton Co and served in Civil War, with promotions.
The three females born prior 1820c(two under age 5) not listed in children. Still
unknown.

William born on family farm in Ninety-Six District. He & Rachael were married, in Abbeville, SC 1800c. He bought 144 acres (one-half) of 'the farm' in 1802.
He (William Schelnutt) & Rachael were in Edgefield Co in 1810c. Most births from 1802, when he bought the Shelnut farm, until abt 1817 should be in Edgefield Co. They migrated to Surry Co, NC. There, William Shilnott [Shelnutt] had one male and three females listed (all under age 10) in 1820 census, Captain Farkners District, Surry County, NC page 754. Some of the sons were missing, but old enough to be working for another family. [Three daughters under age 10 (two under age 5 - under 15 in 1830c) Not found other census records. Had two of the names before a computer crash, but unable to locate them again - Believe one named Minerva, but can't confirm]
[Benjamin and Richard Shelnutt, ages 26/45, also in 1820c Surry Co, NC].
His son, William C., was born Surry Co, NC in 1821, (Bible Record of son).
William was also incl... in Henry's will , probated 1849, leaving most everything to his brothers and sisters, (Providing for his wife) (See: Henry Shelnut "Will").
*Early Settler, Habersham Co, GA, lists information that March 10, 1822, sixty-one families settled Nacoochee Valley, incl.. two wagon trains from NC. Jim Shelnot was the 47th family, and settled near Blue Creek. John Shelnut was the fifty-sixth family and settled on the Monroe Place. [William or his nephew William] sold his property in Habersham county. William moved to Walton Co by 1825, his nephew
still had property in Habersham Co, but had moved to Fayette Co, GA

William & nephew John (1798) were in Surry Co, NC 1820 where two unknown Shelnutts--Benjamin age 26/45, spouse 26/45, one son 0/10, three females 0/10, and two females 16/25 -- Richard 26/45, spouse 26/45, one female 10/16.

James, his father and family moved to Surry Co, NC before 1820c. They came to Habersham County, GA by Wagon Train in 1822. Jim's wagon was the 47th to go into Nacoochee Valley. He went to Walton Co, [James Shelmet, listed 1840c Carroll Co, then to Gordon Co, GA by 1850c. He, (James Shellmitt) with Elizabeth, was a farmer 1870c Gordon Co, [Mary England, sis-in-law] and James [nephew s/o Jacob], in home in 1870c). James & Elizabeth never had children of their own.

John "Y" listed in Marriage and other records.--John brought the 56th wagon (two wagon trains) from North Carolina to Habersham County, GA. in 1822. They settled in Nacoochee Valley on the Monroe Place. John went to Walton Co by 1825, Campbell Co. 1840, then Bibb Co, but migrated for Missouri.(Dist 8, later Cedar PO), Boone Co 1850 census) after death of mother-in-law. Census !850, Dist 8, Boone Co, MO, did not list Rachael, listed John 40, Mary, white female, age 38. Margaret born 1838 Missouri? Other children - James, Lewis and Thomas born MO
Some of this family moved into Arkansas and Texas.
The record of 'Shelnut's in Missouri' was not attempted, although there are many (misc unknown, or unplaced) Shelnut's in my 'Misc. File', and some listed.
In 'Nat's Shelnut Records', instead of John 1805, he had his g-father, John G. (1727-1781) going 'West' to raise a second family, but he died in 1781. (Researching for other children by John 1727).

Most of Henry's sons were involved with the Georgia National Guards of Walton Co.
and many made promotions as they joined the Civil War. -- Several children lived in Broken Arrow, Walton Co, GA.
Note-- Gwinnett Co History---Listed Henry married to Jane Hightower with children: Curtis, Frank, Crocket and Mathew.--unable to confirm. This could account for Emma
