Most records give surname as Cochran but marriage is Cohorn . Last three children in 1860c but not on many other records .Marriage license (page 43 #134, Campbell Co. book "A" 1829-1842) list John and Edna Cohorn as license issued Jan 8, 1841, Fulton Co and Married Jan 10, 1841 Campbell Co , by G. W. Silvey, JP.
Edna had one son named John Miller *(1850 census).born 1830 Georgia. William Cohorn
born 1807 Tennessee and wife Alphia age 36 born Georgia lived in the same neighborhood.
A Miller family also in neighbor. Edna and John had three children in 1850 census of Campbell County, which appears to have been surveyed, taking in a small part of Fayette
County where the Shelnut families lived. The property was surveyed into Douglas Dounty
in late 1800's.
