He was baptized on Nov 26, 1955, in the Macon Stake Center. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple, Utah, on Aug 19, 1 971, for our temple marriage. He served four years in the Marine corp.(1954-1958). We lived in Milledge where Debra and Carol were born. Then we moved to Jacksonville, NC , where Harold Jr was born, and until his discharge from Marines. We then moved back to Milledgeville, where Ronald and Tammy were born, We bought an acre and put on a trailer, and started building a house. My sister Josie lives there now . He worked for J.P. Stevens Co until 1963, when we moved to Marietta, GA, where he had a job with Lockheed. In 1964, we bought a home in Powder Spring, GA, where we still live in 2001. He worked for the Iron Workers Union, went into business with Jr Higgins, putting up metal buildings. Then went into business for himself, putting up metal buildings, then into putting up overhead cranes, and repairs. In 1995, he closed the business and began working for RJ Mack Co putting up cranes, fabricating, and repairing them. In 1999 , he retired from RJ Mack. In1996, we went to Hawaii for
our 40th Anniversary. In 1998, we went to Alaska and now we have covered all 50 states.
