G-Daughter Bobbie Faye Shellnutt, (b.1940 Statesboro, Bullock Co. GA) Atlanta, is researching to find full names of grand-parents -Her dad, Barney had a few
notes in his Bible - father Jack, - mother Rosalie (Florrie) ? (surname, Walker ?) - siblings, Jack, Jr.- Elnora, etc - incl. Barney Walker Shellnutt, born Humboldt, TN.,
left home abt 1915, stopped for food in Statesboro and found a home. He had contact with Sister in Memphis, TN (contact lost) - had contact in Alabama, ?? pos. Re: 'Will' . Gibson County TN 1900 census was checked, but film bad, and could have been missed. Humboldt is located close to Crocket and Madison county lines, so he could have lived in one of those. Hoping someone will have info.
Added info-- Richardson, white female, first name inked, widow listed children of Jack
in 1900 census, District #2 Crockett Co, Tennessee. Not found in 1910c.

Barney had a Bible, but not much information. He was from Humboldt, located in Gibson County, but also near county lines of Crocket and Madison. (could be bad film, but unable to locate in 1900c Gibson Co, TN) (found in Crockett, probably moved to Gibson
after 1900 census). Barney's Bible listed parents as 'Jack Shelnutt' and wife Rosalie Florence [Walker or Richardson]. Barney, Sr. known to have contacted a family connection in Alabama. He was also in touch with a sister,[ Lenora S. Chambers, wife of Malcom] living in Memphis, TN, but connection was lost.
