Rev War. Family thought Hans had been captured and sent to Nova Scotia, Canada. It's not known what became of Granted Property at age 14, (1772). Latest info from Wayne Shelnut in Nova Scotia (direct descendant) is that George (1758) was a CPL in the British Army. He arrived in Nova Scotia in 1783. and was paid for the lost property in SC.
