General Notes for Child James Lafayette MOODY-[1778]

James L. served in 62nd North Carolina, Company A (CSA). He was a POW at Camp
Douglas for over a year, after the forces at Cumberland Gap were surrendered by their commander.
James L. son/of Reuben Moody (b.1804, d.1891), is buried at Dellwood Cemetery,
Haywood Co, N.C. (East of Maggie Valley), with wife Mary "Polly " Leatherwood Moody and son, Robert L. Moody.
